Group Fitness Classes - What Is In Store For Worcester?

There is not long to wait for our brand new Fitness4Less Gym & Swim club to open in the centre of Worcester. With 50+ classes per week planned for the timetable, you may be wondering what classes will be on offer and which will suit you best. You may also think, "I don’t do classes". Well… we are going to try and change your mind!

Whether you are male or female, an experienced exerciser or a beginner, and whatever you are looking to achieve, we will have something for everyone. Classes run between 7am and 9pm during the week, so there really is no excuse not to give at least one class a go.

Group exercise offers a sociable, fun environment, where you can take part in an effective and safe workout with a trained instructor on hand. The classes are on at the same time each week, so you can schedule your exercise routine around the classes you like, and the best bit is that you need no prior knowledge or experience to take part. What more could you want?

Are you looking to de-stress, stretch and increase your flexibility?
Yoga - For improved posture and strength. Yoga is a foolproof way to increase strength and flexibility and to boost physical and mental wellbeing through special postures and focused breathing techniques.

Pilates -An exercise class which focuses on balance, posture, strength and flexibility, utilising low impact movements.

Do you want something high energy, designed to improve your cardio-vascular fitness and help you lose weight?
Bootcamp - A superb way to shift excess fat, build lean muscle and condition the heart and lungs, using the traditional range of simple bodyweight, free-weight, functional and cardio exercises.

Spin - Get on your bike! Combine resistance and cardio based training in perfect harmony to get your heart pumping, legs burning and metabolism boosted. You can burn up to 400 calories in a spin class!

Do you want a class that is great fun, and helps you to improve your fitness & tone up?
Zumba - The class that started the dance-fitness revolution. Change the way you view a “workout” forever. It’s fun, effective and best of all? - made for everyone!

Power Bar - Grab your bar, load it up and go! Shape and sculpt your body using traditional weight lifting exercises accompanied by music. Your instructor will coach and correct you through a fantastic total body workout.

Do you enjoy high intensity workouts?
High intensity interval training, involved short intense activity bursts with short recvery periods, great for getting your metabolism moving!

MetaPower - Involveds a series of body weight exercises, with interval style training. Designed to push you to the limits, this session will keep your body buring calories long after the session has finished.

Are you looking for a sociable, fun, water-based class?
Aqua Aerobics - Come and join the fun at the pool and get your heart healthy. Water aerobics set to lively music will keep you fit. You will burn fat while having fun with easy moves that will shape and tone you.

Aqua Zumba - This brings new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. It combines the South American Zumba rhythms and dance steps with a pool party. It offers a fun but challenging, water-based, body-toning workout.

As you can see, the timetable below is a work in progress but the final one will be wide-ranging; involving classes on the gym floor, in our functional training room, in the pool and in our large air conditioned studio.
