Join In Our Open Weekend And Get Fighting Fit In 2020!

From 24th – 27th January 2020 Fitness4Less is holding an Open Weekend, when local residents and their families, as well as those of existing members, can try our facilities free of charge and normal joining fees on our affordable Monthly gym memberships will be waived.

  • Just use the online code FREEDAY, which is valid from 24th – 27th January, to get a free one-day guest pass, which visitors can use that weekend.
  • No joining fee will be charged if you join up on a flexible direct debit Monthly or 12-month-plan gym membership over the Open Weekend, just the first month's usage charge. Other affordable fixed term gym memberships are available too to suit your circumstances.
With the theme “Get Fighting Fit For 2020”, our clubs will be holding a variety of activities over those days, particularly encouraging people to try some boxing moves and combat-based exercise routines and to see how they can kick and punch their way into the new decade and fight their way to fitness.

Some of our clubs will be launching exciting new Les Mills classes in January too - taking our members' workouts to the next level for serious results - and are offering taster sessions to showcase these over the open weekend. The Les Mills mantra is "Make a bad day good and a good day great. Lift your spirits, challenge your body, change your life!"

These are just some of the classes and activities you can try, which our regional clubs have laid on to help kick that January lethargy into touch!


The club will be adding a boxing element to various classes that don’t already fit that criterion: -

Friday 12.30– Box Fit (already fits the bill!)
Friday 1.10– Step Aerobics
Saturday – 11am - Legs, Bums & Tums
Sunday – 12.99 - XFIT
Monday – 7.30 Weight Loss Workout
Monday – 12.30 HIIT
Monday – 12.30 Ladies Only Glute Attack


1pm - The club will be running an outdoor boot camp underneath the flyover outside the gym.



10.30 - 11.00 - The club will be running a boxing workshop, incorporating show boxing and cadio exercises.
19.00 -19.30 - boxing workshop, as above.

Free samples of Lucozade will also be availble.


Saturday & Sunday

10am - 2pm Cambridge Heath will be holding free 30 minute one-to-one Pad Sessions with its friendly fitness team.

The pad sessions will demonstrate safe and effective technique and give the participants a great cardiovascular workout.


The gym will be offering boxing pad work workshops throughout the weekend.


Friday 6:45 - HIIT ‘N MIX Boxing with Andy
A mix of pad work, high intensity cardio and core work. Fast cardio, short rests and core stability.

Saturday 9.00 - HIIT with Ellis
Speed, agility and quickness (SAQ) training to work on footwork, flexibility and recovery.

Sunday Boxing at 10:15 with Estelle
Boxing techniques and pad work, working on combinations and stamina and finishing with a boxing burn out endurance circuit.

Monday 17:30 Boxing circuits with Kai
Working on footwork drills and bag work, focusing on speed, distance and power.


MMA Class – Main Studio - 12pm
Skipping Workshop – Studio Two - 1pm
Pad Work Class – Studio Two - 1.30pm

MMA Class – Main Studio – 12.50pm


The club will be offering the following fighting fit classes: -

Friday Box Fit –at 12:30-13:00 - If you’re looking to improve upper body power through boxing, this is the one for you! Melt the calories away in this quick, fun and explosive class!

Saturday MMA Fitness at 10:35-11:35
 If you want to train like a UFC Fighter, then look no further! Intense and engaging class centred around Mixed Martial Arts conditioning techniques!

Monday 12:00 -12:30 Boxing Workshop - A great introduction to the basics of boxing. Here, you’ll learn the fundamentals of glove and pad work to start you on your boxing journey!


The club will be launching the following Les Mills GRIT™ workouts: -

LES MILLS GRIT™ Cardio - a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn.

LES MILLS GRIT™ Athletic - a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sports conditioning workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete. This workout often uses a step, bodyweight exercises and multi-dimensional sports conditioning training to increase your overall athletic performance, strength, agility, speed and power.

LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength - a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbells, weight plates and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

The following Les Mills classes will be on offer: -

Saturday 9am (30 minutes) GRIT - Strength
Saturday 10am (30 minutes) GRIT – Cardio
Sunday 8.30am (30 minutes) GRIT - Strength
Sunday 10.30am (30 minutes) GRIT - Cardio

So bring along a gym buddy, a friend, a bunch of work colleagues, a neighbour or your mum – everyone’s welcome to have a look round, try things out, watch some demos, get advice and join the fun!
