As part of a major multi-million-pound redevelopment of the centre of Worcester, centred around its beautiful medieval cathedral and new pedestrianised square, Fitness4Less is creating a brand new gym, which is due to open this autumn. The Cathedral Square Project, which has attracted many big-brand shops and restaurants, redefines the city’s retail and leisure zone and brings a welcome regeneration of this part of the city centre. The new Fitness4Less gym will be in the heart of this revitalised area, with easy access for shoppers, workers and the city’s large student population

When completed, Fitness4Less Worcester will be a spacious new facility, including: -

• A 15m swimming pool, large sauna and steam room
• Changing rooms, locker rooms and showers
• A Prowler running track
• Three different studio spaces for stationary spin bikes, functional training and group exercise classes
• A Ladies Only gym for women that would prefer some privacy when exercising
• A superb range of Life Fitness cardiovascular and resistance equipment.

Building work on the new gym is progressing well. The internal walls have been erected, and the swimming pool has been formed. The electrical installation and air conditioning are nearing completion, and the drainage system is currently under construction. A considerable number of people have already joined the gym in anticipation of its opening, taking advantage of the current “no joining fee” offer.

Adjoining the new development, on what will be Fitness4Less Worcester’s doorstep, a pedestrianised continental-style piazza, the “Cathedral Plaza” with a first-floor terrace offering al fresco dining, has been created, with Ask Italian, Yo Sushi, Starbucks all about to open their doors.



This impressive square will host the official launch of the new complex on Saturday 29th July 2017, allowing people to shop and dine in view of the Cathedral with live entertainment, cookery demonstrations and a big screen film showing. Fitness4Less will have a stand at the event, where our friendly team can set up membership accounts for new customers and talk to them about what the gym will be offering in terms of facilities, classes and personal training. There will also be demonstrations of some of the wide range of classes from Apex to Zumba, for which Fitness4Less is famous. Be sure to make a note in your diary!
